Screen Grabs: “My Delirium” by Ladyhawke

From her self-titled album, released in 2009, Ladyhawke’s  song”My Delirium” narrates the inner-turmoil of someone waiting to find out whether the person they love reciprocates their feelings. A mixture of desperation, longing, and delusion, this inner turmoil  causes the narrator to slip into a restless and disturbed mental state (a.k.a delirium). The video for the song illustrates this state of mind through its water-color aesthetic and cosmic twist on a classic  Thelma & Louise reference.
